Local buses to the town centre, via the railway station,
are only a short walk away and taxis are always available.
Waitrose supermarket is 10 minutes walk from us but
also has free customer car parking for two hours.
Other useful shops, take-aways and restaurants plus a doctors' surgery and chemist are on the same spot. Elsewhere nearby is a Tesco Metro, a bakery, more take-aways and a petrol station / garage.
There are many delightful pubs and restaurants in the surrounding villages and in the city centre itself.
